Derringer Awards Voting

To be eligible to vote for the 2013 Derringer winners, your Shortmystery membership must be current and date back to December 31, 2012 or earlier. This cutoff is to prevent late ballot-stuffing.

On March 1, the Awards Coordinator will announce the finalist stories and upload them to the Files section of the Derringers Yahoo! Group for SMFS members to read. There is no discussion in the Derringers group, only polling.

After reading the finalist stories, visit the Polls section of the Derringers Yahoo! Group. For each poll, indicate your choice by clicking on the circle next to it. Then click the "Vote" button.

You can check your vote by returning to the poll page. There will be a black dot in the circle next to your recorded choice. If you don't see a dot, your vote has not been recorded.

If you decide to change your vote before polling ends, return to the poll page, click the circle next to your new choice, and click the "Vote" button.

Voting on the 2013 Derringer Awards ends Friday, March 30, 2013.
